Today was the 65th anniversary of V-J Day and the end of World War 2. A victory achieved by showing the resolve to atomize hundreds of thousands of Japanese civilians. Dropping bombs beats getting shot at but aside from the resources and expertise it takes to build an atomic bomb, isn’t it a little too simple to do? Should the ability to instantly end thousands of lives be made so easy?
